Whitening

The treatment of the nineties! We all want to look our best, to greet the day with a bright, beautiful smile. Whitening is one way to achieve this. The best part about whitening is that you are in control. Whitening can be done in your home. A quick visit to our office, a simple impression, and you leave with your whitening kit. You decide when and how often to whiten your teeth. Results are noticeable after only a few treatments. Whitening is your answer to beautiful white teeth.

Whitening has never been safer or more effective.  A clear spearmint-flavored gel made up of carbamide peroxide is applied in the tray. The tray can be worn overnight or for just a few hours during the day as needed.

As the carbamide peroxide is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel and whitens the colored tooth structure. The structure of the tooth is not changed; only the tooth surface is made lighter. Maximum results are achieved when the process is continued for fourteen nights. When the teeth are as white as you would like them to be, simply stop using your kit until such time as you believe further whitening is necessary. Teeth may need to be treated for two or three applications every three to six months.

There are many different causes for tooth staining. The most common ones are staining by coffee. tea, colas and tobacco. Discoloration may also be caused by tetracycline antibiotics or nerve degeneration. Whitening is effective for all of these types of stains.

Our office is so confident that you will be delighted with the your results to whiten your teeth, that we offer a money back guarantee.
